Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install an SLN Quantum product in NinjaTrader 8?

Open NinjaTrader 8, go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On (for AddOns) or Tools → Import → NinjaScript (for indicators and strategies). Select the .zip file you received after purchase and confirm. Restart NinjaTrader if prompted.

Where do I find my Machine ID for licensing?

In NinjaTrader 8, go to Help → About. Your Machine ID is displayed in that dialog. Copy it exactly and include it in your support request.

I get a compile error after importing. What should I do?

Check the NinjaScript Output window for the exact error. Common causes: outdated NinjaTrader version, conflicting script, or missing dependency. Try removing older versions via Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly, then re-import.

Can I use SLN Quantum products with funded accounts?

Yes. Our strategies and the SLN Trade Copier work with any NinjaTrader-connected account, including funded accounts from APEX, Topstep, and similar prop firms.

How does the SLN Trade Copier work with multiple accounts?

The Trade Copier replicates executions from a master account to follower accounts in real time within NinjaTrader 8. Auto Master evaluates up to 6 accounts across W1/W2/W3 windows. Everything runs locally.

What NinjaTrader version do I need?

All SLN Quantum products require NinjaTrader 8 (current stable release). Not compatible with NinjaTrader 7. Keep NinjaTrader updated for best compatibility.

Do I need a VPS to run the strategies?

A VPS is strongly recommended for 24/7 automated trading. A Windows VPS with at least 4GB RAM and stable internet is sufficient. We can advise on setup.

Is my license transferable to a new PC?

Licenses are tied to one Machine ID. If you change PC, contact support with your old and new Machine IDs and we will transfer the license.
